ENTREPRENEURSHIP
& INNOVATION
Teacher: Josee
This subject examines entrepreneurship as a component of creative practice. Through site visits, case studies, lectures and industry engagement, it analyses how institutions, sole traders and organisations structure and sustain cultural enterprises. It considers funding models, audience development, market positioning and operational systems within economic and social contexts. Innovation is addressed as both artistic production and strategic response. The subject also examines the relationship between creative vision and financial viability. By focusing on networking, collaboration and sustainable practice, it develops knowledge and skills required to navigate industry structures and respond to future challenges within the creative industries sector.
