T5 WORKS IN PROGRESS: adding a second video

I decided to add the second video into the installation because the sculpture alone could not fully communicate the internal frustration and physical tension held within the body. While the resin head and the sliding puzzle digital video speaks to memory, cognition, and the difficulty of reconstructing a stable sense of self, the second video shifts attention to the hands and the physical experience of neurological disruption. This allowed the installation to move beyond a single reading of the body and create a stronger connection between the mental and physical effects of illness.

Positioned near the lower part of the sculpture, it functions as an extension of the body rather than a separate screen-based work. Adding this second video made the installation more complete. It created a dialogue between the resin head, the concrete pedestal, and the digital image, allowing Life in Pieces to hold both cognitive fragmentation and physical limitation within the same installation.
